今日有一个境外的诈骗团伙向冒用省政府名义本地区（Burlington）居民推广高效能源返款计划(Energy Efficiency Rebate Program)。我在12月21日向省议员Effie Triantafilopoulos办公室举报。Effie办公室及已经向安省能源厅核查，确认这些为诈骗电话。以下内容摘录自Effie于12月22日发出的新闻邮件。

Illegitimate (SPAM) Phone Calls – Energy Efficiency Rebate Program
Please note – We are aware that some of the residents of Oakville North – Burlington have been getting illegitimate phone calls from a private group who claim to be funded by the Government of Ontario to conduct an Energy Efficiency Rebate Program. In Ontario all electricity rebates are offered by the Independent Electricity System Operator and they do not make outbound calls.
Please do not answer these phone calls. This group has been asking for private information and is not at all affiliated with the Government of Ontario.
